1. Acceptance of Terms & Binding Agreement

By accessing, browsing, calculating with, or generating materials from Plumbing Tools Hub, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the calculators, printable size tables, friction loss formulas, thermal sizing calculators, and CAD drawing tools subject to the following guidelines:

• Trade & Commercial Estimating: You may freely incorporate calculator outputs, liquid capacity volumes, DFU drainage schedules, and sizing recommendations into client proposals, job site takeoff sheets, plumbing bid estimates, and academic coursework.
• Drawing & Export Tools: You may download, save, or print generated isometric schematics, bathroom rough-in diagrams, and material lists for construction planning and permit documentation drafting.
• Prohibited Actions: You agree NOT to:
  • Deploy automated scripts, bots, spiders, or scrapers to extract our proprietary code, calculation algorithms, or dataset tables.
  • Frame or replicate the look, feel, or branding of Plumbing Tools Hub on another domain without express written consent.
  • Bypass, modify, or disable any security safeguards, rate limiters, or client-side validation logic.

3. Professional Engineering & Code Compliance Advisory

Local plumbing codes—including the International Plumbing Code (IPC), Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC), International Fuel Gas Code (IFGC), and municipal local amendments—vary significantly by jurisdiction. Sizing outputs (e.g. vent stack diameters, drain slopes, backflow preventers, gas line pipe sizing) must be field-verified by a licensed Master Plumber, Mechanical Contractor, or Registered Professional Engineer (PE) having jurisdiction over the job site.

4. Intellectual Property Rights & Ownership

All website content, user interface components, interactive calculator engines, SVG symbols, CAD diagram renderers, stylesheets, and written educational guides are the exclusive intellectual property of Plumbing Tools Hub, protected under international copyright, trade dress, and trademark laws.

6. Limitation of Liability

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL PLUMBING TOOLS HUB, ITS OPERATORS, CONTRIBUTORS, AUTHORS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Material takeoff overages, inventory shortages, or incorrect pipe procurement.
• Plumbing leaks, joint blowouts, water hammer events, or frozen line structural damage.
• Water heater thermal under-sizing, electrical breaker trips, or insufficient gas pressure drops.
• Municipal building inspection failures, permit delays, stop-work orders, or fines issued by local Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ).
• Loss of business profits, project delays, or contractor reputation damages resulting from reliance on web tools.

7. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Plumbing Tools Hub, its directors, developers, and licensors from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your use or misuse of the platform; (b) any actual plumbing installation executed based on calculator results; or (c) your violation of these Terms of Service.

Our calculators and technical guides may contain hyperlinks to external websites, manufacturer sizing tables (e.g. Rheem, Rinnai), and code repositories. We reserve the right to restrict, suspend, or terminate access to any user or IP address found violating these Terms, engaging in abusive bot scraping, or attempting to compromise site security, without prior notice.
